Last night, the local Vancouver hockey team was decimated by their American challengers and thousands of morons took advantage of the mass disappointment to assault fellow revellers and police, destroy property and break into and loot local businesses.
Counting amongst the stores looted (as far as I know) is Louis Vuitton flagship, The Bay, Brooks Brothers, Michael Kors and a handful of smaller retailers which haven’t confired damage. After searching on Craigslist today, it appears that 685 people have listed items on Craiglist tagged with Louis Vuitton. While not all of these people are criminals, I would wager that over half of this merchandise was looted last night.
We’ve learned that not only do douchebags hate books and love Louis Vuitton, but are also morons – what a crop of idiots just waiting to be hauled off to jail.

so much from Surrey
06.16.11 @ 12:57 pmFigures they’re all from Surrey. This was not the doing of true Vancouver fans – it was a group of degenerate bridge and tunnel kids.
06.16.11 @ 1:31 pmWindow shopping have we
06.16.11 @ 6:21 pm@Boston fan: I can’t believe (well maybe I can) that these people are seriously dumb enough to post this crap online THE DAY AFTER THE RIOT
06.16.11 @ 7:24 pmUh… Only 11 of those items were posted today… which isn’t significantly more than other days. This story is a major FAIL.
06.16.11 @ 7:40 pmyou do realize that it really isn’t anymore than the usual amount of fake postings.
06.16.11 @ 8:53 pmMinor fail. But they’re mainly in Surrey, which is telling about more than fashion and junk. It shows how Vancouver’s poorly thought out crowd control strategy has created the Granville Strip, a horrible center for boozing suburbanites to come in, stay up past their bedtimes, and get hammered (bars close hours later downtown than the burbs) in a city that they have no respect for.
