I wore DMs loads in the 90s, when I was a student, and am loving them all over again right now. I’d forgotten how great they are, but the second time around is even better than the first! I’m much more comfortable experimenting with what I wear now, and discovering how much I like DMs androgenous style.

I used to have the 1B99 in “Peacock Buttero” as an early-teenager and I loved them so bad! I had been eyeing them at the store for months when my mother finally gave in and let me get them. I decided to take extra care of them, and not wear them all the time, because they were special. Unfortunately, my feet grew so much in the following weeks that about a month later, they didn’t fit me anymore. They were nearly brand new, i think i wore them about 4 times.

So these boots will only be the ultimate DR.Martens for me! And I would definitely wear them to death (mine, probably) this time. We have a lot to catch back up on.
