I catch a lot of flack for it, but yes – I like cats.  Really, most animals do it for me (minus the snake and spider pets..yeeeesh), but I just happen to have a critter that makes me understand how awesome cat attacks really are.  For Elle, we have the cat countdown!  Cats have long been a favorite of the tacky middle age woman, but there are many pieces to redeem the four legged feline crowd.

The cat screen print is a popular one, and they can range from an illustration style image (such as Illustrated People”s sweatshirt) to various photo interpretations as Glamour Kills’ hipsterrific puss, Prince Peter x Mick Rock’s mow photo tee, Your Eyes Lie’s cat face tank dress and even Rootote’s smiling creature tote.

Some accessories are a bit more creative, though they range in just how far you want to range – think Disney Couture’s Cheshire ring, Emilie Morris’ cat teeth earrings or Servane Gaxotte’s intricate pendant.  All of these accessories range from traditional to macabre and creative, and everywhere in between… it just depends what road you want to take with your cat repping.

Sunglasses are an easy method to rock the cat look without actually having to use a direct visual theme reference; think Ray-Ban’s Cats 1000 frames or Emmanuelle Khanh’s crystal embellished pair.  Our last, and most eccentric item is Miu Miu’s cat print Mary Jane pumps, which feature a very 90s block heel on their runway shoe.
