Mesh is one of the best ways to layer up and give your summer outfits depth without sweating off a pound an hour.  Mesh breathes, provides texture and allows for layering when other fabrics would not.  Some of the most covetable designers have been trying their hand at getting fresh with mesh – check out their goods below.

LnA is always a forefront when it comes to statement casual wear.  Aside from their garter leggings, their oversized mesh tee ($101), cropped mesh side ($90) and the bustier-esque geo mesh tee ($92).   For a similar steeze, scope Topshop’s crop mesh sweats, mesh tunic ($50), the mesh crop tank ($32) or Opening Ceremony’s striped tee.

Mesh inserts are also a new style of working the trend; H by Henry Holland’s jersey mesh tunic and vest ($30) are sublime examples of this  method.  For similar style, scope Sarah Claire’s contrast mesh detail leggings, Republic’s sweetheart dress, Missguided print bodysuit, ASOS’ mesh wrap bodycon dress or even F-Troupe’s mesh brogues.

The most basic styles are those made with mostly mesh, like Topshop’s full skirt.  American Apparel also has a full collection of mesh pieces; the most notable being the mesh bodysuit ($26), two sided legging ($40), mesh tank ($16) and the so slinky mesh bra bodysuit ($36).
