If you’ve been wondering what the puzzle was going to reveal and didn’t get to Eugene Choo for the official reveal, now is your chance to take a close look at the beauty of Henderson Dry Goods‘ new collection.
These American walnut pieces are not only laser cut, but laser etched. These are the faces of old photographs, captured and burned into the wood one at a time. I am a proud keeper of two; the shadow faced old woman (second from top), and the mustached fellow at the bottom.
They are quite the gems, and you can still smell the burnt wood after the final etch! Not only are the very organic accessories, but family heirlooms in waiting.
The Henderson website is not yet updated, though if you must have one of these pieces now I would advise visiting Eugene Choo or contacting the artist directly.
