Fatigues are the slightly modified ’09 safari trend, and there is no better place to grab some fast sale designer purchases than The Outnet.  It’s foolhardy for anyone less than affluent to buy a pair of khakis style shorts for $200, especially when you can find them new for half that price… let’s get trend hopping, shall we?

Olive is the ruling color of the fatigue world, so look for casual pieces in that shade, such as  IRO’s trapeze tank ($57), Y-3′s stirrup leggings ($69), Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti cropped cotton pants ($251), Vanessa Bruno shorts ($105), a Vanessa Bruno wool scarf ($87).

If leathers are more your thing, Y-3′s hooded leather jacket ($438) or the IRO suede bike vest ($171) are excellent pieces that can be dressed up or down.  For those looking for an extreme statement piece, scope the Moschino button embellished pea coat ($1,145); it may seem like a load of coin, but this piece is actually 65% off.

Y-3′s Shiomi wedge boots ($178), Sigerson Morrison’s gladiator sandals ($291) or Bally’s mid-calf Sherix boots ($318) are all examples of the footwear variance you can work within concerning this trend.   A boot is always a safe bet, though when it comes to a sandal ensure you’ve got buckles and leather aplenty.

Accessory wise, Sara Berman’s Marlow studded satchel ($400) and the matching distressed leather wallet ($150) are not only ideal working pieces, but they are exclusive designs to The Outnet.  Finish off your look with a pair of Thakoon tortoise sunnies ($116), an olive Vanessa Bruno leather belt ($52) and you’re good to go (and hopefully under budget!)
