As with the Topshop Mercy and Mercy2 before them, Steve Madden’s Kellii chain flats ($90) are at the top of my wish list.

I’m quite tall, so flats are my eternal ally.  It’s so difficult to find a flat which you can dress up without looking cheap or over done; this gladiator-esque take on the classic flat works while avoiding both of those pitfalls.

You could also drape additional chains and baubles around the anklet cuff for effect; especially with the holiday party season in full swing and New Year’s around the corner.

The Kelliis are available in three colors; black, brown and pewter which are all treated to appear distressed.  Like all Maddens, they’re made from leather and are available in sizes 6 through 10.
