Thanks to lovely fellow Twit @camiafidela, I had the extreme joy of discovering FASHEMATICS!!! the blog today. Fashematics is a very creative way of doing visual calculation – one plus one, equals the other.
From what I can tell, their formula usually is {pop culture example + inanimate object = runway creation}. I’m no fan of anything mathematical (aside from calculating a clothing budget, of course), but this is some excellent math I can truly get behind.
The Jerry Seinfeld puffy shirt + maggot example below was one of my favorites… I highly suggest you visit Fashematics’ corner of the interwebs.
