If you’ve been wondering what the next best boot could be, may I present to the boat boot. For the unfamiliar, it’s basically a loafer and a casual boot mashed up – it’s better than a sneaker, and much more style forward.
The boot to the right is the Lighthouse boot by Sebago ($145). Reasonably affordable, wearable to almost any event and super comfortable – isn’t that everything a man would want in a city boot?
If you’re still on the skeptical side, Mark Ronson’s sneaker range for Gucci features a clear boat shoe design inspiration. Topman already has a butt load of boat shoes, and it’s only a matter of time before the shaft climbs and we have a boat boot GQ will be recommending.
