Coco Cocoon Range Was ALMOST Free Of QuiltingI was quite enjoying the look of the new Coco Cocoon collection.  They had a surprisingly delightful looking Lily Allen as their campaign face, and [finally] some casual bags without the done to death Chanel quilting.

I spoke too soon, sadly – beyond a handful of rather fun looking nylon bags I saw it.  Yep, The Quilt was back.

I’m blaming the Adonis-like Baptiste Giabiconi for this slip up… when a man as calcified as Unkle Karl has an -errr- distraction like that, I’m sure trip ups are bound to occur.

The Kaiser should have stuck to his original vision and kept his collection entirely quilt free.  This effort was so close! Perhaps a SS10 Cocoon collection will take more of a trailblazing street style route.
