When it comes to leather over the knee boots, flats will always reign supreme – if only for the fact that you won’t be confused for a prostitute.
Finding a pair of leather over the knees with ideal, minimalistic detailing is difficult enough, and it’s even more of a task to find a pair that are within a reasonable price range is an entirely different matter. Topshop’s Paramount boots fit these parameters, while being priced at a entirely reasonable $310.
As you can see in the detail shot, these boots have a slight Western feel, while still remaining on the safe side of grunge with the chain, stud and buckle detailing. The Western heel allows for a slight amount of height and added femininity, while still remaining wearable on extended city stomps.
The Paramount comes in sizes 5.5 – 10.5, and they’ve been brought back from Topshop’s retired design graveyard for a second (and likely last) time in the foreseeable future.
