While most women (and men) would have thought ‘woah’ at first look of the 10 inch towering alien clog type booties.
Apparently even before Lady GaGa’s incredible Bad Romance music video, designer Alexander McQueen was inundated with calls from women practically begging him to sell them the sample pairs.
According to Grazia, McQueen plans to possibly hold a charity auction for each pair of runway sample booties. I can’t even imagine how much certain affluents would be willing to dish out in order to hold one of these patented boots!
I can imagine most of the requests aren’t for those who wish to wear, but display these theatrical works of art.
I’d put these lovelies in a light box – I wonder how many thousands they will actually sell for?
