NewbarK Has Created The New Loafer

While NewbarK‘s soft leather loafers are marketed for women, I can imagine men wearing these as often as the ladies.

These are a hybrid of a soft jazz shoe and a slipper, and just as comfortable. The sole is reinforced leather, so they may require a re-sole from your friendly neighborhood cobbler but once this is done you’ll have the perfect city slip on ready for all the walking you could possibly force upon it.

Each pair is $350 so things aren’t in the pricing minor leagues, but I’d say these are a solid investment for the discerning man who needs something between formal footwear and something inappropriately casual.

I’m thinking of these as the hyped up, city version of Tom’s loafers, which I know are a current favorite for many. All three of these NewbarK loafers are available at US retailer Kirna Zabete, and yes, they do ship internationally [rates].
