I don’t get why this is such a topic. So she gained some weight – the girl was unhappy in her place, and wanted out and left.
For the model world she is fat, but then again the model world dosen’t represent the real world, does it?
Time and time again loudmouths wail about the injustices endured by weighty models, citing the age old “well, we think she looks normal” argument.
Well hello, victim of the turnip truck (or worse, the crowd pleaser) – models aren’t chosen for their normality, they’re picked for their genetic advantage of being thin and having certain looks. The world’s version of normal is irrelevant; if one is in the fashion world and one plays by the industry rules, a size 4 model is quite normal.
Let’s just move on, let this Aussie gal return to some beaches without photogs chasing her for an unflattering angle, and wait six months for her to make her triumphant return to the fashion industry.
She’ll no doubt win a handful of covers to display “how I lost the weight!” and how she “wants to be an inspiration to girls of all sizes”. Snore.

Totally agree about the EPIC snore-fest. Marketing weight gain/loss of celebrities is so overdone.
