Ms. Burch must be none too pleased with this release… I wonder how long it will take before she joins the league of over 50 companies who have sued for design infringement.
Truthfully, I may have had less of a contemptuous feeling if the boot would have at least been made of leather. Creating it from polyurethane is not only an insult to Forever 21’s customers, but a slap to the face of the designer of this boot which they ripped off.
I get that Forever 21 is about creating styles that are quick and affordable to all, but this is taking things too far. I hate to defend a busted copycat, but at least Steve Madden uses real leather on his imitations.
The original Tory Burch design was an incredibly sought after boot, and it is clear that this Forever 21 piece of plastic is intentionally being a big design thief.
