Clogs Destined For SS10 Are Already Making Me Weep

Clogs Destined For SS10 Are Already Making Me WeepYou know what? I think clogs are mother effing hideous, no matter who designed them. Yep, that means you Karl Lagerfeld.

While I’m not under the illusion that every emerging trend must fit my design taste, clogs are one thing I have a perennial distaste for.

Why do I loathe them so? It’s simple – clogs remind me of something one would wear at a farm, and heeled clogs remind me of someone trying to dress up something that cannot (and should not) be jazzed up.

It’s the same thing as someone making a heeled pair of sneakers; it’s a true abomination that nobody should put upon themselves.

I’m voting a seriously enthusiastic thumbs down to these beasts, whether they are heeled or otherwise. Stick with a wedge if you’re wanting to go with a wooden heel; they will set the tone of your look much better.

I whole heartedly agree. Also those ankles are awfully skinny. The clogs don’t help.
