
It’s an immense peeve of mine when pieces are mis-named; not only because of the incorrect naming convention is picked up and continued to be mis-used, but it is then accepted as correct.
This 3.1 Phillip Lim piece is a leather jacket in pea coat style; a proper pea coat is defined by its construction of wool, not only its design. There are many variations of leather outerwear, though pea coats remain consistent to the original design from the 19th century.
To those whom classify this as an overreaction, this is akin to calling you the wrong name and continuing to do so. Let’s just call a leather jacket what it is!

I totally emphatize.
I hate it when people call zip-ups cardigans. IMO Cardigans have buttons and Zip-ups have zippers.
