Patterned fabric motorcycle outerwear is a welcome respite to the influx of leatherwear FW09 has found itself drowning in. After all, you’re going to want something to wear with your new leather bottoms without looking like Catwoman’s cousin.
I’ve found two glorious options which are coincidentally light on the wallet; Levi’s buffalo check moto ($118) and Debenham’s houndstooth version ($88). Buffalo check is [of course] a yearly staple for the chilly months, but houndstooth is experiencing a surge of popularity thanks to Alexander McQueen‘s FW09 collection that featured a blast of the pattern.
Bluefly ships worldwide, though Debenham’s does not – if you want that red houndstooth and live in North America, you’re going to get post creative.
