These boots by La Dolce Vita may be PU, but for $88 you can’t get a better bootie at the moment.
These boots have everything right for the moment, the cut out, buckles and low hidden platform. The best part is La Dolice Vita has skipped past my biggest boot peeve this season – the open toe.
They’re available at Urban Outfitters, which has recently updated their shipping policies to post to Canada (hurrah!)

I saw these online and even called to have the held in my size but passed when they looked like orthopedic braces on. Seriously, they looked nuts AND unflattering.
11.03.09 @ 1:01 pm@Meghan: really? I saw them for the first time on a girl in Used Vintage (on Granville), and loved how they looked on!
11.03.09 @ 1:04 pmKeep in mind, I have thick little legs. Though, even I was shocked by how stumpy these made me.

-So freaking true.
I wasn’t so sure about these and first saw them @ the $88 dollar price point. However, they’re not even real leather. I think I’m more attracted to the idea of them, but I can’t see them being the least bit flattering.
11.03.09 @ 4:12 pm@Al, Meghan: The girl I saw them on was petite, but hey – I think I’m going to grab ‘em when they’re on sale and prove they’re awesome.
11.03.09 @ 4:22 pmYou better post photos to declare you victory! (And ditto on the peep toe. I picked up some sale booties instead of these, and somehow forgot that summer was over.)
