Men.Style.Com Morphs Into GQ.com

This isn’t much of a change since men.style.com was always run by the GQ team, but now the branding has officially changed to GQ[dot]com.

There had been branding confusion between the source of the website’s content in the past with style.com being Vogue USA’s online home. The former men.style.com URL was extremely close to that branding, which foreseeably caused brand confusion.

Since men.style.com is officially no more, the online environment has also been privy to a face lift; all’s truly well in GQ’s online domain.

I really want to still like GQ. Unfortunately, they think they need to compete with Maxim’s trashiness.

They need to stick to there creed: “Look Sharp. Live Smart.” and stop pandering to the Maxim crowd.

Agreed with the previous poster. The current GQ could refine their editorial coverage by focusing less on the Maxim and fratboy audience.

I remember when GQ used to include short story fiction in their editorial coverage. Maybe that era is gone, but the status quo falls short.
