It seems to be all about everything matte these days.  Shine be gone, we want dull!

As we’ve recently seen with matte nail polish to matte sequins, and it’s truly catching.  Matte sequins can give off many effects; from nearly a faux skin pattern look to a nearly leather like appearance.

A friend of mine recently acquired a matte sequin blazer from Costa Blanca, and it’s divine.  The bodycon skirt to the right is a find from Dorothy Perkins (£35), which is a particularly luscious find.

Matte sequins give you a slice of glam without having to get incredibly intense.  They are more ideal for the day time, and easier to style.  If you’re thinking about getting into the sequin game, this is an excellent first step.
