I knew that the Weston family owned Loblaw‘s (Superstore in the west) and Holt Renfrew, but I was unaware their reach extended to British megastore Selfridges.
Yeah, it’s the same Galen Weston Jr. that you see in those damn Superstore commercials – he has unlimited access to the entire stock of Holt’s and Selfridges, and groceries for that matter.
Now, there are whispers that the Westons are looking to also acquire Barneys – this family is unstoppable!
Who would have guessed that the guy to the right is a fashion overlord?

interesting… had no idea the people behind loblaw’s also owned holts, but heard loblaw’s bought out the asian grocery chain t&t over the summer. i guess galen weston can have unlimited access to even more groceries now – and specifically asian imports.
