@Donna: Oh, perhaps piece longevity and quality? Leather ages, while plastic breaks down with age – that is a prime reason to choose quality leather pieces over that of faux.

What drawback could there possibly be to using alternatives than dead flesh? What a horribly cruel comment to make. Tell you what, I’ll skin your children and we’ll see who thinks a drawback is using faux.
