These are the cream of the jean short crop. Now is the time to step away from dark indigo washes in favor of lighter blues, but black is still an all season safe bet. Additionally, Because we’re getting back into 2006′s shredded denim, any old pairs of tattered jeans cut and cuffed will make a fine addition to your summer wardrobe.
Acid wash is also still going strong, so try and fight it if you must but prepare yourself for the onslaught of trend riders filling the streets with bums covered in this style of treated denim. If you’re a purist, stick to a raw denim short as those won’t have been treated in any way and will have a uniform wash color.
