Woolrich is one of those gem like menswear lines – richly crafted and well designed, yet nobody knows about it and it’s nearly impossible to locate in North America. Sadly for us Canadians there are no official stockists on Woolrich’s site listing; but there are plenty in the good ‘ol USA if you’re up for a roadtrip; though most are located in L.A. or New York.
Woolrich’s SS09 collection echoes outdoor casual chic; almost a sailing lumberjack. It’s an oxymoron, I know, but what other image would stripes and plaid conjur?!
Needless to say, if you’re up for looking as if you’re about to chop wood in style or go for a sail (don’t we all?), then check out Woolrich for some threads to remember.
