I love Gravity Pope. They carry great stuff. Good, clean designs with an edge and good quality. No over the top designers, like Versace or Dior, but there prices range from high moderate to lower upper end. So it is possible to come out with an outfit that does not cost as much as a used BMW. They are an easy to shop store, the staff is nice, no attitude but they all (at least the ones I have dealt with) have a good sense of style and helpful without being pushy. My overall favorite store in Vancouver.

This post should have been called "Menswear for the effeminate skinny little urban hipster dudes". There are tons of choices outside of Main & Gastown for guys who don't wear girls jeans.

Know it's a bit old, but motherland clothing to an extent is in my opinion totally worth mentioning. Although if they're headed to Eugene Choo they'll find it regardless. Best not to pass it by though.

You pretty much should set up camp at Winners and hope for the best =)
Sadly, Vancouver lacks in affordable [and stylish] menswear choices.
