The owner is a financial supporter of the American Republican party (talk about your disconnect!), and its young clientele may be too indifferent or too ignorant to know. If knowing where one spends their money is important, young people with liberal leanings may find it surprising as to who is profiting from the sale of kaffiyehs and cord jeans.
