He’s fashion’s It-man, and now he’s extending a gloved hand and offering safety tips to the French by way of public safety adverts.
His line reads, “It’s yellow, it’s ugly, it doesn’t go with anything, but it could save your life”. Even when this man decides to go head first into an advertising campaign such as this one; somehow the man manages to not appear as a sell-out.
Now if only North America would be so receptive to ad campaigns like this one!
I suppose that the fact that most North Americans would rather see Football Player XYZ touting their favorite safety practices versus a prominent creative figure speaks volumes for our confused and drowning culture.
What a world.
